Do you still remember your teachers? I do, because a great part of who i'am today, my personality as well as my job are thanks to them. Believe it or not, your teachers can have a big influence on your personality. While growing up the role models that we have after our parents are our teachers; some of them are bad or may I say mediocre ones and some are just great and very good.

So what does define a good teacher from a mediocre teacher? What are the qualities of a good teacher that separate him from the other ones?

Even though we were just little boys we were able to identify a good teacher from a bad one, I remember being so excited to see Mme Dupree, my French teacher, she was just terrific, and for that I become very good in French, my teacher made love the element and every class was a great joy for me. On the other hand, I remember being anxious and uncomfortable to see my math teacher Mr. Callaghan, he was angry all the time, never listen to what we have to say, no teaching manners, and of course the first victims are the students, and of course I grew up to be mediocre in math.

For a child the qualities of a good teacher are:

-a teacher who loves his profession, and believe me a child can tell.

-a teacher who knows his students

-a teacher with great moral values.

-a teacher with a great deal of patience and will.

-a teacher who create a non-threatening environment in the class for the children to make them come every day to Scholl with a willing to learn.

And because teaching is a very important matter it has to be discussed on the highest level.

Improving our education system is the first step towards development, and that system relies on the effort of the men and women who have chosen teaching as career.

Therefore, developing this system must first go through the teachers. Good teachers' means good education and good education means a great nation.

In my opinion "the qualities of a good teacher" must be a manual giving to every teacher that will show them what make a good teacher and helping every one of them to achieve that gold has to be a first priority to every government.

The task we hand over to the teachers is a great one and will set our nation very high among the great or condemn us to stay in the bottom of the world, that's why it is the responsibility of each one of us to help the dream come true.
